Show notes for Shannon Laymon-Pecoraro with Hook Law Center – What is Elder Law? Shannon Laymon-Pecoraro - Elder Law There are many situations in life where you may need an attorney to represent you.  When deciding to hire an attorney you need to do research to make sure they they are qualified to assist with your specific needs.  Technically, they are licensed and can practice law.  However, because there are so many laws out there, they cannot effectively provide legal services that covers everything.  So, just like doctors they usually specialize in one or a few areas of law. Today’s podcast we spoke with Shannon Laymon-Pecoraro who practices in the areas of elder law, estate and trust administration, estate planning, asset protection planning, financial planning, guardianships and conservatorships since 2012. • Estate planning
  • Guardianship
  • Navigating through the estate process
  • Long term care planning
  • Assets
